More pictures from the road leading to Bow roundabout. Although the cycle path is painted bright blue, the actual design does not fill me with confidence.

Sunday tunes. Loving it.

Since I have been in London we have been out checking out different neighborhoods, and I have also been writing my dissertation in London focusing on cyclists perceptions of cycling in London.

We went to look at Tower Hamlets to have a look around and and when we got to Bow roundabout was that its been designed purposefully to be a deathtrap. No cyclist would honestly think this is a good way to provide infrastructure. Coming from Denmark I was chocked that this was recently built? Go to Amsterdam or Copenhagen, and you will see why women, children and the elderly make up the majority of cyclists - the rocket science is to make people feel safe, pleasant and comfortable. I personally don’t think that London has gotten it right yet.
