Urban life, music, landscapes, fashion and travels - from Copenhagen

Copenhagen in 2025

In 2012, Sustainia hosted a conference for planners and politicians, where Sustainia launched The Guide to Copenhagen 2025, which presents a vision of what Copenhagen could look like in little more than 10 years. Lone Feifer, Project Director at VELUX Group, presents the publication, which you can find on sustainia.me, or by clicking on the link her

Its a pretty cool little publication looking at the possible futures, and articulating some of the policies and possible futures which might seem utopian right now, but could come to pass if we wanted to commit to building a more sustainable city. Copenhagen is already a show case to some cities, boasting world famous cycling, district heating, public transport infrastructure and amazing public spaces spread around walkable districts in the city. But check out the book, its fun reading.

This artwork is just fantastic as it is transforming one of Ørestads most unwelcoming road space, into an attraction!!! Simply love following the work as it progresses!!!!

Hailing from Manchester, Joe Synkro’s talent for creating elaborate, emotive & intellectual soundscapes over any chosen tempo is second to none.

I thought this video was really cool, as it critiques some thing that I can relate to… But I like Oslo.

New Urbanist Transect Theory

Its a really cool clip - that integrates a lot of different aspects of creating better pedestrian cities, using “pedestrian sheds” for planning for better more walkable cities.
